Earth Day Expo on April 17th Kicks Off Sun Valley Activities


Sun Valley, April 16, 2004 – A coalition of business owners in Sun Valley dedicated to beautifying Sun Valley and improving the quality of life of the residents in this San Fernando Valley community will host the area’s first-ever Earth Day Expo on April 17th at Sun Valley Park. Sun Valley Beautiful (www.sunvalleybeautiful.org) is co-sponsoring the event with Councilmember Tony Cardenas.

“This is Sun Valley’s first-ever Earth Day Expo. Community leaders will join hundreds of friends and neighbors on April 17th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a day of family fun and environmental consciousness at Sun Valley Park,” said Marylou Steinfeld, President, Sun Valley Area Chamber of Commerce.

WHAT: SUN VALLEY BEAUTIFUL - EARTH DAY EXPO 2004
The Expo will focus attention on the environment, recycling and other earth-friendly programs that help Sun Valley residents take action in safeguarding homes and promoting a healthy environment. Area residents will also learn what they can do to aid their community in becoming environmentally conscious. The Sun Valley Earth Day Expo will feature music, entertainment, display booths, food vendors and much more.
